About the event
Who is this for?
Young people aged 13–19, from all backgrounds. This session is especially supportive for those who may have experienced bullying, racism, exclusion, or who sometimes struggle with confidence and self-expression. Mental wellbeing matters to us: participants don’t need to be “confident” or “outspoken” already — this is a space designed for those who feel nervous, shy, anxious, or unsure, as well as those who are ready to lead. Everyone is welcome, as long as they’re open to listening, sharing, and respecting others.
Hour 1: Safe Space – Understanding Bullying & Racism
Purpose: To help young people recognise harmful behaviours, talk about their own experiences safely, and build practical coping tools.
What happens:
We start with ice-breaker circles to set group agreements: respect, confidentiality, and no judgment.
